John Branam

Fifth Third Bank

John Branam currently serves as the Industry Credit Lead for Fifth Third Bank’s Community
Development Corporation and Tax Credit Lending Group, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. In this
role, he oversees underwriting, portfolio management, and asset management for the bank’s
community development investments and tax credit lending. These include programs such as Low-
Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), Historic Tax Credits (HTC),
and investments in Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs).

John resides in Cincinnati and brings over 34 years of experience in real estate and banking, with
more than 19 of those years at Fifth Third Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Administration and
Finance from Indiana Wesleyan University.
