Erin Mastrangelo is a community development investment banker and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investment professional. She joined Charles Schwab Bank as Senior Manager, CRA Investments in 2022. Erin plays a key role in originating, underwriting and closing over $500MM in LIHTC investments annually. Her role within Schwab’s Community Development Group focuses on understanding, supporting and growing access to affordable housing in the state of Texas with a concentrated effort in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

Prior to joining Charles Schwab, Erin was Vice President, Equity Sales for RBC Community Investments, a national syndicator of LIHTCs. Her role at RBC focused on investor relations and capital raising efforts. During her 10-year tenure at RBC, Erin’s endeavors supported nearly $10 billion in equity raised for creating and preserving affordable housing.

Erin is a graduate of Wittenberg University with a B.A. in Economics. She has devoted her career to real estate finance focused on affordable housing across the United States. Erin resides in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys working with “Girls on the Run,” helping girls grow self-confidence through running, community impact and peer development.
